How Traceability Works

Automatic Linking

When testcases are generated from requirements using AI:

1. Pidima automatically creates traceability links
2. Each generated testcase is linked to its source requirement
3. Links are created during the generation process
4. Multiple testcases can be linked to a single requirement

Example from screenshot:

• Requirement TRR-REQ-00023 has 20 linked testcases
• Each testcase ID is clickable for navigation
• All links created simultaneously during generation

Manual Link Management

Update Traceability Links:

1. Click the edit icon for a requirement
2. Modify the list of linked testcases
3. Add or remove testcase associations
4. Save changes to update traceability

Delete Links:

• Click delete icon to remove all traceability for a requirement
• Useful when requirements become obsolete
